The Shire of Brad Leah is a chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc. (SCA.) The SCA is
a non-profit organization devoted to researching the Middle Ages and
recreating it in the present.
Some members concentrate on the study of the European Middle Ages and
Renaissance Eras, working to recreate the arts and skills of these time
periods.
Others concentrate on the study of Middle Eastern and Asian Cultures,
with many members working to recreate the arts and skills of their chosen
areas and also exploring the interaction between Europe and Asia during
the periods under study.
In the "Known World of the Current Middle Ages," Brad Leah is
located within the Kingdom
of Ansteorra. In the modern world, it is centered around Wichita Falls,
Texas.

for Creative Anachronism, Inc. and is maintained by the
webminister. This site may contain electronic versions of the groups
